For New Homeowners

On behalf of the Homeowners Association, welcome to the Foothills Clusters Neighborhood! We hope that our Hospitality Committee has had the opportunity to personally greet you and provide you with useful information about living in the Foothills Clusters. (If you have not been visited by the committee within a week of moving in, please send an email to Contact@FoothillsClusters.com and we will call to arrange a visit.)

In the meantime, we would like you to be aware of two important areas of interest: living in the desert, and our Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&R’s).

Living in the Desert

If this is your first experience living in the desert you will find our abundance of wildlife and native vegetation fascinating and sometimes bewildering.

You should be aware of the presence of pack rats.  Pack rats can cause damage to vehicles and appliances that are left outdoors overnight. For information about managing pack rats and their habitat click here.

Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions

In order to help everyone enjoy the unique style of living in the Foothills Clusters, the HOA has adopted a set of rules known as the CC&R’s.  All residents must abide by these rules. In all the confusion of buying and moving into a new home, reading and understanding the CC&R’s is sometimes pushed aside.

Common prohibited items include, but are not limited to:

  • Barking dogs
  • Unleashed pets
  • Animal waste
  • Loud music or noise
  • Temporary garage structures
  • RV parking
  • Trash and Debris
  • Abandoned or wrecked vehicles

Exterior Improvements to homes  are welcome but require:

  • Filing an Architectural Change Application Form
  • Obtaining approval before work begins
  • If the lot is adjacent to a Common Area, obtaining approval from the Foothills Homeowners Master Association if there is any change to the house footprint, addition of a fence, pool, patio or outbuilding.

You can read the complete CC&R’s by clicking on the following link:
